At MedSpa Institute of America, we want to give you the tools to be a successful licensed esthetician! As part of an education at our esthetics school, you can learn with professional equipment that is regularly updated and modern. Plus, be part of our professional network to achieve the future of your dreams! There are a variety of options available to you after completing our basic esthetics program.
If you want to become a licensed esthetician, our 600-hour esthetics course can help you gain the knowledge you need to become a licensed skincare professional.
As a student at our esthetics school, you can expect a detailed and hands-on education with small class sizes, as we only allow 12 students per class. We keep class sizes small to give more opportunities for students to work one-on-one with our experienced instructors.
Our students do so much more than just read out of the textbook!
We want to prepare you to be a licensed esthetician or dive deeper into your education with our Advanced Practice Esthetics program and ultimately our Laser Program to help make you stand out from other estheticians and have the freedom to work where you can thrive. Potential careers range from being a makeup artist at your favorite spa to working at a dermatology or plastic surgeon’s office!
Depending on the class schedule you choose, our program can take as little as 18 weeks to complete! If you are interested in making a big change in your career sooner, this could be the right fit! Plus, esthetics programs are often much shorter than traditional cosmetology schools. Class is from home Monday, Thursday, and Friday and in school on Tuesday and Wednesday for preclinical. Once you hit the floor you can make your own schedule from 2 days a week up to full-time hours between 9:00 AM through 4:30 PM.
We have multiple classes starting throughout the year.
Both Full-Time and Part-Time classes start:
-January 6th
-February 24th
-April 14th
-June 2nd
-July 21st
-September 1st
-October 20th
We are currently working toward being able to offer Federal Student Aid. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to ask us more about how much our program costs and payment options available to you!
If you’re ready to make a change in your career and your life, the first step is to schedule a tour of our school! See the facilities, get to know the instructors and see if the culture of our school is a good fit for you.
You won’t get the same experience at other esthetics schools!
As part of the tour, you can get a better understanding of what requirements you need to meet, as we require our students to have proof of high school graduation or a GED.
If you are out of state and want to see if MedSpa is right for you, give us a call at 952.681.2167 (Edina Campus) or 563.599.7280 (Dubuque Campus) and may be able to set up a phone consultation.
