Continue Your Skincare Education with Workshops and Certifications
Sometimes your career could use an additional boost in education, whether you want to add more classes or build upon current skills you’ve already developed. At MedSpa Institute of America, we offer a variety of additional classes you can enroll in to learn new services to provide to your clients. The two main types of advanced education options we offer include:
- Workshops – While they do not end in certification, they do provide demonstrations in more advanced skills.
- Certification – These classes include hands-on training with a device with an option to take a certification exam (with or without purchasing the device necessary to provide the service).

Esthetics
Get a basic foundation of key services licensed estheticians must know, including facials, makeup, and waxing. This is a good starting point if you’re interested in a career in skincare.
Advanced Practice Esthetics
Dive deeper into clinical skincare after completing a basic esthetics program, where you can learn more clinical techniques, including microneedling, dermaplaning, and more.
Laser Certification
If you’re already a licensed esthetician and skincare professional, add additional specialized services to your resume through our unique laser certification program.
Phlebotomy Training
Our phlebotomy training provides hands-on experience in blood collection techniques and a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and infection control.
Cosmetic Injection Training
Learn how to do more clinical services such as injections and fillers. While this course is only available to RNs, it’s a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of skincare.
