We offer laser certification in our esthetics schools in Minnesota and Iowa. If you want to be able to offer more services as a licensed esthetician and potentially move toward a more clinical career, consider enrolling in our laser certification program. The owner of MedSpa Institute of America created the laser license under the Office of Higher education back in 2015, and we’ve been able to teach skincare professionals how to successfully use this high-tech equipment for years!
As part of our laser program, you can expect to work through two phases, no matter which tier package you choose.
First, you learn as part of our student phase and get a basic understanding of how to use the equipment from our experienced instructors. We cover basic theory, show demonstrations, and more.
Then, it’s time to get actual experience through our internship phase! You can practice using professional equipment, as our instructors advise and direct you every step of the way. This part of the program requires at least 120 hours to meet Minnesota’s laser laws. Plus, as part of our student medspa with laser treatments, your clients can get professional services at a discounted cost.
We have three different tiers of laser training to choose from, depending on how in-depth you want your laser education to be. The costs of these programs range from $5,000 to $10,000.
