By popular demand, our Flex Course has returned!
We offer two convenient options for the Laser Certification program to fit your schedule. Students may choose our in-person 150-hour weekday course, held from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, or our online hybrid options, which allows you to complete the didactic portion remotely and attend Week 2 on campus for hands-on training. The hybrid option also provides the flexibility to comoplete your internship hours and required quotas on your own schedule.
Medspa Institute of America’s Laser Program is designed to help you get certified with confidence—and stand out to employers. As our school owner created Minnesota’s laser licensure through the Office of Higher Education in 2015, we’ve been the first and training skincare professionals in advanced laser technology for years. With our deep connections in the medical aesthetics industry, you’ll graduate with the training, support, and professional network you need to take the next step toward getting hired in the real Medspa or Medical aesthetics side of esthetics.
When you enroll, you don’t just learn one device or one narrow skill set. You’ll get hands-on exposure to multiple laser and energy-based technologies, helping you build real-world experience and a stronger, more competitive resume—so you’re prepared for a wider range of jobs in medical aesthetics, not just a limited set of workplaces.
We offer laser certification through our Minnesota esthetics schools for licensed estheticians and aspiring laser technicians who want to expand their service offerings, increase their earning potential, and even move toward a more clinical career path. Our 150-hour Luxury Laser Program can be taken before or after Esthetics/Advanced Practice Esthetics, but we recommend taking it before so you can keep building hands-on laser experience on select evenings and Saturdays while you’re still in school—helping you graduate more confident and more competitive. The course also includes valuable add-ons like Phlebotomy training, CPR, Laser Safety Officer training, and HIPAA training to strengthen your credentials for the medical aesthetics industry at a true Medspa.

Get a basic foundation of key services licensed estheticians must know, including facials, makeup, and waxing. This is a good starting point if you’re interested in a career in skincare.
Advanced Practice Esthetics
Dive deeper into clinical skincare after completing a basic esthetics program, where you can learn more clinical techniques, including microneedling, dermaplaning, and more.

Cosmetic Injection Training
Learn how to do more clinical services such as injections and fillers. While this course is only available to RNs, it’s a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of skincare.
